Put your menu where AI can read it
Google's menu editor lets food and drink businesses add menu items, descriptions and prices to their Business Profile, grouped into sections such as appetisers, main courses and desserts. Google says changes can take 24 to 48 hours to show on Maps and Search, and its guidance for AI features asks site owners to make important content available in textual form.
So your menu needs to live in two places as text: your Business Profile and your own website. We put it on your site with dishes, descriptions and prices, written to match your profile, and when the menu changes we update the site and tell you exactly what to change on the profile.
How AI tools choose which restaurants to recommend
Ofcom reported in December 2025 that about 30% of searches now show AI overviews, and that 53% of adults say they see these summaries often. A diner's question is precise. For example: somewhere open after ten, a tasting menu for a birthday or a private room for twelve.
An AI tool can only match details like those if they're written down somewhere it reads. We set out your cuisine, opening hours, price range, private dining and booking options in plain text and matching schema on your site, so the answer is there in words when a diner asks.
Show your hygiene rating as it stands
In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, your local authority uploads your food hygiene rating and the Food Standards Agency publishes it on its ratings website. Wales and Northern Ireland make it a legal requirement to display the rating at or near each customer entrance, and the official guidance encourages businesses to promote their rating on their website or social media pages.
Your rating is a public fact anyone can check, so it belongs on your site. We add it to your pages exactly as the official record shows it, beside the details diners compare.

No. AI tools decide their own answers and no agency controls them. We make sure that when a diner asks, your menu, hours and booking details are there to be read, and the ads in your Growth Engine work on filling the tables.
