Statistics Canada reported on June 11, 2026, that 19.2% of businesses used AI to produce goods or deliver services over the previous 12 months, triple the 6.1% of the second quarter of 2024. Almost one-third of those businesses (32.0%) reported AI-related training for existing employees.
