Dundee agency secures six-figure investment and new director
Marketing and Communications agency, DLR Media, is planning for further expansion after securing new investment to take on more staff and scale up its operations.
The Dundee-based company has grown quickly since March 2019 when Managing Director, Daniel Rosie started the company.
The team now has around 9 key specialists and specialises in social media and digital marketing management for clients in a range of industries.
The new 6 figure investment has been made by Carrick Management, a management consultancy based in Dundee. Carrick Management – based in the prestigious Dundee One building on Dundee’s Waterfront – specialises in scaling up business activities, primarily for local companies who need some additional expertise to augment their skills.
The investment will include financial and hands-on growth support and will see Harry MacLean, Managing Director Carrick Management, join the Board of DLR Media as Commercial Director.
This will allow DLR Media to accelerate expansion and customer acquisition plans as well as helping to secure new office locations throughout 2020 and beyond.
Daniel Rosie, Managing Director of DLR Media, said: “Carrick Management has given the DLR Media team excellent support since November 2019 and this new investment will really help us accelerate our growth throughout 2020 and beyond.”
“We anticipate employing a further 2 staff straight away and look continue to add to the team throughout 2020, most of which will be based in our Dundee head office. We have ambitious growth plans for 2020 with a range of new office locations on the horizon.”
Harry MacLean, Managing Director of Carrick Management, added: “We were impressed with the team and the vision for scaling up, and have been very happy to support their growth.
“We’re looking forward to continuing our relationship and seeing the company go from strength to strength in the future.”
